The Appine Assessment is a two-week fixed-fee engagement that ends in an explicit recommendation — keep, harden, rebuild, or don't do it at all. If the answer is “don't hire us,” we'll write that down too.

The assessment: questions we get asked
What does the assessment cost?
It is a fixed fee agreed in writing before any work begins, so the price cannot move during the engagement. It is scoped to two weeks regardless of what we find.
What do we actually receive at the end?
A written report containing the system audit, a severity-ranked risk register, a delivery baseline and one explicit recommendation. It is written to be useful to someone who is not us.
Are we committed to further work?
No. The assessment is a standalone engagement and the report is yours. You are free to take it to your own team or to another supplier, and some clients do exactly that.
What access do you need?
Read access to the codebase and a few conversations with the people who run it. We agree the access method and scope in writing before starting, and we work in your region or inside your own cloud account.
